New "tricks"

In the past few weeks Ian has started to:

Sit-up on his own for a short period of time.

Laugh in response to people.

Use his feet for everything, particularly playtime and eating.

Roll from his back to stomach.

Reach for things, including but not limited to toys and his puppies.

Rotate himself when lying on his stomach.

Sleep through the night(10-11 hours).

Scream, but not because he's upset. It's more like a new way to communicate his joy.

Support himself on his feet, with our help of course.

He's growing up so quickly, just like everyone said he would. It's sad and exciting all at the same time. Today I went through some clothes in his chest of drawers that he had outgrown a month or so ago, but I had a hard time cleaning them out at the time.

Happy baby

Less than 3 weeks left with this precious smile...

More playtime

Recent visitors

Ian got to meet a few of our friends this past weekend. Unfortunately, we didn't get a picture of everyone, but here are some of "Uncle" Dave and "Uncle" Jimmy. Mama Clydie also came to help out around the house on Monday.

Naked time

Our sleepy baby. He loves being naked, which should make it interesting once he's a toddler.

Playtime

Ian got some new toys and is finally able to play with some he got for Christmas.

Truly blessed

I just finished reading a blog of a family who recently lost their baby. I cannot imagine how difficult that must be. It reminded me of how truly blessed we are. Little Ian has had some minor health porblems, but overall he is a healthy baby boy. He's growing at a good rate and is developmentally where he should be. I want to thank everyone for the prayers and support we've had thusfar.
