He is such a handsome boy. That's so awesome he's just about sitting up. How old is he, and when is his surgery scheduled? I read below you are looking for some surgery advice. For me the hardest part was seeing Abby afterwards. She was so swollen and she didn't even sound like herself. Prepare yourself for this, it was highly emotional for me. After the initial shock though, you become used to their new looks and fall in love all over again. I don't mean to scare you, but that's just what I experienced. Also, I worried a lot about not being able to feed her prior to the surgery, but she just sucked away on her 3 little fingers all day and didn't make a peep. By the time they allowed her to eat, as soon as she was back in my arms, she was ready to go. You'll figure everything out as you go, and soon enough you'll be offering your advice to others. We all made it, as will you!
